I Know, It's Been More Than A Week

I know, it's been more than a week. I have not lived up to my promise. I will try and do better, or give this up. I think there are some advantages I will receive from blogging if I truly give myself to it, but it is a commitment.

Yesterday, however, was a celebration of another commitment. Yesterday was my wedding anniversary. I have been married to the love of my life for nine years. I love that woman, and yesterday was a great day. With the exception of my commitment to Christ, this is the longest commitment I have ever had, and I am loving it.

Busy Week

This last week was a busy week. My wife didn't come home from work until really late several nights. I am so proud of my wife. She took over these classes in the middle of the semester and had to hit the ground running. She has done very well. She has created great relationships with her students and is loving every day.

Oh, the audition I mentioned in my last post... I did not get the part, probably because I did not go to the audition. However, I did run across a posting for an audition for a Regent student film, and auditioned for that on Friday. No word yet. But still, I think it was the shot in the arm I needed right now, even if I don't get the part. In fact I just recently found and joined a group on Facebook called Regent Casting, which hopefully will have many more such listings.

Just a Little About Me

I am a software developer for Liberty Tax Service's online product, so this has been a busy time of year. We are past the major hurdles for this year, but a few hurdles remain, so I am still working seven days a week. Hopefully, I will get next weekend off.

I just want to say that I love my wife very much. She has put up with a lot the last few weeks (months, years).

Being as this is the first post to my Blog, you might think that the title is in reference to the begining of this blog, but it is not.

Instead it is a reference to the birthday of my beloved wife. She loves her birthday and it is now her birthday.
